The EDX 3200S PLUS X Food and Plant Analyzer is a fast spectral analyzer manufactured by Skyray Instrument for the rapid detection of traces of heavy metals and harmful elements in food using X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) technology using the most advanced detectors and excitation sources and other hardware configurations. With the help of irradiation from a powerful X-ray source, fluorescent X-rays excite various elements in the sample, the energy characteristics of the elements are measured, qualitative and quantitative analysis can be carried out by measuring the X-ray intensity of the corresponding elements using a semiconductor SDD detector. The intensity of the X-ray emitted by the excited sample is related to the content of the element in the sample, so a quantitative analysis can be carried out by creating a digital model of the matrix of the substance. Currently, this spectrometer is used for rapid non-destructive detection of cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), arsenic (As) selenium (Se) in rice, wheat, corn, tobacco and other crops with a minimum detection limit of 0.04ppm, 2~ 3 min rapid analysis.
